Happy Fall Y’all

Today marks the first day of fall 2019.  Fall is one of my most favorite seasons and it is something I look forward to every year.  I love summer don’t get me wrong, but there is something about the change of season that just feels comforting.  The kids are back in school ( I love a good routine), a chill is suddenly in the air, the best smells hit the stores and all the fun decorations and clothes come out of the closets.  In my life and HOUSE, fall is the start of the holiday season…and it really is the BEST!

Some of my favorite things to do to start off the fall season…

]Burn a fall scented candle.  I always start burning my favorite scented candle of all the time…Mainstays Mulled Cider Candle from Walmart.  Oh and at $4.24 a jar, you can burn this scent ALL SEASON LONG!

Get a fun wreath for the door.  It is amazing how one little change like this can make your home feel really inviting!  This wreath I found at Target. It is the Harvest Wood Slice decorative wreath by Spritz!  Twenty Bucks!

Find a cute wooden sign. They are all over the stores.  Michaels crafts, target, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Jo-Ann fabrics, the dollar store!

Hang garland around a mirror.  I found some pom pom frills at Jo-Ann fabrics.   After using a coupon, it ended up being an affordable and perfect decorative edition to my entryway mirror.

Add a pillow to your couch. This is such a fun and easy way to bring the holidays into your living space.  I have one pillow for each holiday.

Add a pumpkin. Real or fake.  Pumpkins scream fall.

Fall is a fun season and with a few decorative changes you can really make your day to day life have a little bit of fall pizazz!

Oh and after that…don’t forget to add in the Pumpkin spice everything to your pantry!
